Analysis of In Vitro and In Vivo Characteristics of Human Embryonic Stem Cell-Derived Neural Precursors

  • Original language description

In this article we demonstrate derivation and in vitro and in vivo (after transplantation in the rat model of stroke) analysis of highly enriched and expandable populations of proliferating neural precursors from hESCs. Our results complete the characterization of the CCTL14 line of hESCs and provide a framework for developing cell selection strategies for neural cell-based therapies.
