Original language description
Die supraventrikuläre Tachykardie (SVT) ist die häufigste symptomatische Tachyarrhythmie bei Kindern, Jugendlichen sowie bei Patienten mit einem angeborenen Herzfehler. Die SVT wird in Abgrenzung zur ventrikulären Tachykardie dadurch definiert, dass anatomische Strukturen oberhalb der Bifurkation des His-Bündels an der Entstehung und Aufrechterhaltung der Tachykardie wesentlich beteiligt sind. Eine SVT liegt bei GREATER-THAN OR EQUAL TO3 konsekutiven Tachykardieimpulsen vor.
