The International Psoriasis Council (IPC) psoriasis severity reclassification divides patients withpsoriasis into two distinct groups: candidates for either topical treatment or systemic therapy.Systemic therapy candidates meet one of three criteria: 1) disease involving high-impact sites(e.g., face, scalp, genital, palmoplantar, nails, intertriginous); 2) over 10% body surface areaaffected; or 3) failure to respond to topical therapy.
