The impact of atropine administration on VIP levels in rat heart was studied in relation to heart rate during vagus nerve stimulation. Chronic atropine administration affects VIP synthesis in rat heart and it this modifies the heart rate regulation.

Czech description
Vliv aplikace atropinu na koncentrace VIP v srdci byl studován ve vztahu k regulaci srdeční frekvence v průběhu vagové stimulace. Chronické podávání atropinu snižuje syntézu VIP v srdci potkana a může mít vliv na regulaci srdeční frekvence.
