Factors affecting postoperative leakage complications in rectal tumour resection
Original language description
The low anterior resection of the rectum performed by the total mesorectal excision is, from an oncologic point of view, a sufficiently radical surgical procedure in rectal carcinoma treatment. A serious problem of this operation is the possibility of postoperative anastomosis leacage. The higher age of male patients seems to present a risk factor for the occurence of anastomosis dehiscence in the tested group of patients.

Czech description
Nízká přední resekce rekta provedená metodou totální mezorektální excize je z onkologického hlediska dostatečně radikálním výkonem. Závažným problémem je možnost vzniku dehiscence anastomózy. V článku je rozebrán soubor pacientů, u kterých je zhodnocen vliv různých faktorů na vznik dehiscence. Statisticky rizikovými pro vznik dehiscence byly byli pacienti muži a jejich vyšší věk.
