Original language name
Urinary Neopterin in Patients treated with Gefinitib
Original language description
Inhibitors of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), including low molecular weight inhibitor erlotinib and gefitinib, have been demonstrated to be active antitumor agents in patients with non-small cell lung carcinoma and head and neck carcinomas. Increased concentrations of urinary neopterin, and indicator of systemic immune activation, have also been reported in patients with lung carcinoma and head and neck carcinomas.
Czech name
Neopterin v moči u pacientů léčených gefinitibem
Czech description
Inhibitory epidermálního růstového faktoru (EGFR) včetně nízkomolekulárního inhibitoru erlotinibu a gefitinibu se využívají v léčbě pacientů s nemalobuněčným karcinomem plic a karcinomy hlavy a krku. Sledovali jsme koncentraci neopterinu , indikátoru aktivace imunitního systému , v moči u pacientů s nádory plic a hlavy a krku.
