In the study in patients with severe acute decompensade heart failure, authors assessed plasma NT-proBNP levels and analyzed short- and long-term mortality. The authors proved, that increased plasma NT-proBNP level lsignificantly correlated with 7-day, 28-day and 1-year mortality.

Czech description
Ve studii pacientů s těžkou akutní dekompenzací srdečního selhání autor stanovil hladiny NT-proBNP a vyhodnotil je ve vztahu ke krátko- i dlouhodobé mortalitě. Bylo zjištěno, že zvýšená hladina NT-proBNP signifikantně koreluje se 7-, 28- denní i jednoroční mortalitou.
