Birth after cesarean section
Original language description
This work sought to find the frequency and connections between vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections and iterative cesarean sections in deliveries in the Perinatological Center in České Budějovice in the period from 2004 to 2008. From total 11,279 deliveries number of vaginal deliveries was 8,282 and 2,997 of cesarean sections (620 of them were iterative cesarean sections). The percentage of cesarean sections increased from 22.0% in 2004 to 29.9% in 2008. The trend brings new challenges for midwifes andobstetricians.
