    Sarcopenia, the loss of skeletal muscle masss, strenght, and performance is very common among critically ill patients, and is associated with hight mortality and morbidity. Evaluating sarcopenia at ICU is often very challenging. To date, there are only few well-validated tools for its measurement. This study tries to find new method how to evaluate muscle mass using serum markers routinely used to estimate renal functions.
