Hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography in the separation of a moderately lipophilic drug from its highly polar metabolites - The cardioprotectant dexrazoxane as a model case
Original language description
Hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) was used to analyze dexrazoxane and its three metabolites on different stationary phases. Initial experiments were done with HPLC-UV and subsequently LC-MS were used to confirm applicability of the selected conditions. In addition, LC-MS behavior of all analytes were studied and characterized.
