The paper deals with hot problems of current semantics that are interconnected with a fundamental question 'What is the meaning of a natural language expression'? Our explication of the meaning is based on the key notion of Tichylsquo;s Transparent Intensional Logic (TIL), namely that of the logical construction, an entity structured from the 'algorithmic point of view' (procedure), the structure of which renders the logical mode of presentation of the ('flat') denotatum of an expression. Hence meaningis conceived as a concept represented by the expression, i.e. a construction in the canonical normal form.

Czech description

V článku se zabývám základním sémantickým problémem, a to odpovědí na otázku "Co je významem výrazů přirozeného jazyka"? Explikace významu je založena na klíčovém pojmu Transparentní intensionální logiky, a to pojmu logické konstrukce. Tato konstrukce je(algoritmicky) strukturovaný "návod", jak identifikovat entitu označenou výrazem, tedy konstrukce denotátu výrazu. Význam je pak charakterizován jako pojem vyjádřený výrazem, což je konstrukce v kanonické normální formě. Rozlišujeme a definujeme dva druhy užití konstrukce, a to de dicto a de re. V článku rozebírám jednotlivé případy, a to modality de dicto, de re a postoje de dicto, de re, a ukazuji, že jsou obě supozice užití konstrukce logicky zcela nezávislé.
