Exhibition commemorates Czech (Czechoslovak) participation in the international campaign under the auspices of UNESCO to rescue the monuments of Nubia threatened by the rising water of the High Dam at Aswan, 1961?1965. It presents unique archive documents (documentary, photographs) and artifacts discovered in Lower Nubia by the team of Czech Egyptologists. The exhibition takes place on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Czech Institute of Egyptology, Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague.

Výstava připomíná českou (československou) účast na mezinárodní akci UNESCO na záchranu památek Núbie ohrožených stoupajícími vodami budované Vysoké přehrady u Asuánu, 1961?1965. Představuje ojedinělé archivní materiály (filmy, fotografie) a artefakty, objevené českými egyptology v Dolní Núbii. Výstava se koná se u příležitosti oslav padesátého výročí od založení Českého egyptologického ústavu FF UK.
