Co s neviditelným? O vztahu okultismu a vědy
Original language description
Since the scientific revolution in the 17th century, natural sciences have dominated the scientific discourse and western thought has been regulated by an unlimited belief in human reason. However, what happens to this strict rationality in the time of modernity, when various apparatuses appear, showing images previously invisible, and many theories about possible existence of a differently organized space and world arise. How do the contemporary scientists and occultists react to the "invisible"? Thistext is focused on the relationship between occultism and science, mainly at the beginning of the 20th century. It is concerned with enthusiastic scientific discussions of whether it is possible to investigate into occultism or whether it is necessary toignore it. It is also deals with occultists'' effort to make the invisible visible and to establish the "new science" which enables redefinition of current scientific methods.
