Das Partizip Präteritum aktiv entstand im 19. Jhdt. im Tschechischen durch Übertragung aus dem Russischen. In das Slovakische kam die Form aus dem Tschechischen, und zwar aus dem Sprachgebrauch der tschechisch schreibenden evangelischen Autoren in die Kodifikation von Ľudovít Štúr.
