    Chapter in a collective monograph is dedicated to the activity of one of the most outstanding personalities of panel painting in Bohemia, Master of the Třeboň Altarpiece. The roots of his art, the chronology and iconography of his works are discussed indetail. Possible reconstructions of Třeboň retable are indicated. Attention is also paid to the artist's contribution to the formulation of the Beautiful style.
