    The article deals with the transformation of a divine ruling couple and their child that were worshipped on Bronze Age Crete and the way in which it influenced later Greek Myths, especially the Orion myth and the story about the birth of Apollo. Some newinterpretations on scenes of Aegean Bronze Age glyptic are offered, based on the theory presented in this article.
