Original language description
The article summarizes the history of the so-called Christian Ashram Movement emerged at the dawn of the twentieth century and so far representing a remarkable experiment of Christian inculturation in India. Life in a Christian ashram, in modern terminology, can be considered an embodiment of interreligious dialogue in practice, clearly manifesting all its assets and weaknesses. Thearticle presents brieflyselected research outcomes, based on a fieldwork carried out in India since 2008 as a part of a dissertation project.
