    The aim of the monography is to highlight the interdisciplinarity of current Lagerlöf research with emphasis on intermediality and cultural transmission, including the representation and construction of Lagerlöf and her work in specific national, cultural and political contexts at different times. This Chapter focused on translation into Czech covers the period of 1901-2005 and tries to highlight the differences between three distinct periods of the authors reception.
