Original language description

An international workshop focusing on film heritage, its restoration, accessibility and presentation. The day-long workshop consisted of two panels - one focusing on practical aspects of film heritage, the second one serving as a reflexive platform to explore film heritage from theoretical perspective. Geographically, the main focus was cinemas in the Visegrad countries (representatives of all main film archives in the V4 countries were present). However, it was enriched and expanded by confrontation with the development and trends in the countries outside of the V4 region such as France, Sweden and Austria.
