On the false homonymy in Slavonic etymology
Original language description
The contribution discusses different approaches to the problem of homonymy/polysemy in etymological explanations. The author's opinion that lexical homonymy is a rare and undesirable phenomenon in older stages of Slavonic languages is demonstrated on sixpairs of words which are explained from split polysemy while some other authors explain them as homonymous.
