In dem Beitrag wird Schellings Kritik von Fichtes transcendentalem Argument analysiert. Es wird gezeigt, dass Schellings Antwort auf das von Fichte formulierte Dilemma, dass das Ding an sich unabhängig von dem Subjekt bestehen soll, diese Unabhängigkeit jedoch nur von dem Subjekt gedacht werden kann, in seiner Reinterpretation des Fichteschen Begriffs der intelektuellen Anschauung besteht.
