The Glass Workshops and Glass Assemblage from Spolverino (Alberese - GR)

  • Original language description

This note presents a preliminary discussion of some of the data from the excavations of two Roman glass workshops that were recently discovered at Spolverino in southern Tuscany. The study was made possible through the generous awarding of the Rakow Grant for Glass Research by The Corning Museum of Glass in 2014. A complete report on the research conducted during the past two years will be presented for publication in a future volume of the Journal of Glass Studies.
