'Killed' for eternity : Artefacts and ritual behavior from a unique ceremonial structure in Abusir South
Original language description
The principal aim of this contribution is to provide a preliminary report, analysis and interpretation of a Fifth Dynasty ceremonial structure discovered in Abusir South during the 2014 season. This structure is square-shaped in ground plan, built entirely of mudbricks and preserved to a height of only several decimetres at maximum. It is located immediately to the north of the Fifth Dynasty mastaba (about 2370 BC) of Neferinpu which was excavated during the seasons of 2006 and 2007. It probably served to burial ceremonies.
