Varios problemas del desarollo intelectual y transfer cultural, ocasionados por el abrimiento general de las horizontes nuevas, se discuten a base de la documentación producida por los misioners de las provincias centroeuropeas de la Compañía de Jesús, activos en el Nuevo Mundo en los siglos XVII y XVIII.
