This paper deals with three notated antiphonaries from the Benedictine monastery of St. George at Prague Castle, whose repertoire corresponds to the last, third part of the liturgical year, i.e., the post-Pentecost season to the end of the liturgical calendar. These manuscripts are now a part of the collection of the Manuscript Department of the National Library of the Czech Republic. The question now arises, however, as to why there were three antiphonaries with almost identical content in the monastery of St George, if two of them were written in parallel? Why are they not totally identical? In what order they were written, i.e., what is their relative chronology? The last question is, what are the possible sources for the repertory recorded in these manuscripts and where we can find some connections. We have therefore decided to examine the repertoire of these antiphonaries more closely and to try to determine their relative chronology as well as certain tendencies in the development of the repertoire that can be observed in these sources.
