The main topic of the conference was focused on ecocritical approaches and environmental issues in modern Arabic literature, but on the occasion of the centenary of Franz Kafka&apos;s birth a special panels was dedicated to literary reception of Franz Kafka&apos;s works in modern Arabic literature.
