Original language description
The European Intellectual Property Teachers' Network (EIPTN) brings together individuals from across Europe to exchange ideas on best practice and innovation in teaching and learning activities relating to intellectual property. The fifth EIPTN annual workshop (27-28 June 2011) took place at Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Law; organized by its Institute of Copyright Law, Industrial Property Rights and Competition Law. The conference was focused mainly on practical aspects of teaching IP law, how to make this field interesting for students and how to use Internet and electronic communication effectively in the process of education (see the detailed programme above). In total, 66 teachers took part in the conference, coming from 40 different countries. The event was supported by the European Patent Academy and Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague.
