Original language description
The purpose of this article is to introduce law regulation of European Union, which should protect and maintain banking stability and to assess this regulation. At the beginning of the article it will be focused on the term ""banking stability"" and itsimportance for different groups of stakeholders (these four entities were chosen to demonstrate practical side of banking stability-a state, bank owners, banking clients and public). Then article introduces European legislation, which should help to maintain banking stability. At the end of the article is European legislation assessed from the point of above-mentioned stakeholders.
