The space resources industry is an emerging industry that attracts the needed capital to engage in these activities. The legal framework that governs these activities aims to minimize the risks for potential investors. This article addresses the main legal instruments adopted to avoid the risk which could have its source in legal uncertainties. It discusses both the international legal framework as well as the domestic legislation of the United States and Luxembourg regulating space resources activities.
