In the presented monograph, authors deal with one of the most discussed topics of the recent theory of criminal law, namely the issue of criminal liability of legal persons. It is their belief that this controversial issue wasn't even after the adoption of Act No. 418/2011 Coll., on Criminal Liability of Legal Entities and Proceedings against Them (hereinafter referred to as "the Criminal Liability of Legal Entities", or abbreviated "CLLE") effective on 1st of January 2012 fully exhausted. Although the establishment of a brand new institute of "genuine" criminal liability for legal persons could give the impression that a legal theoretical dispute over several years has been definitively resolved, repeated amendments to this legislation, as well as lessons learned from application practice, show us that this may not be the case.
