Methodological Issues of "Shared Responsibility" in Relation to Succession of States
Original language description
At first sight, there are no common points between the concept of "shared responsibility" and the topic "succession of States in respect of State responsibility". The former is a doctrinal concept developed in the framework of the research project, carried out at the Amsterdam Center for International Law under the leadership of Professor Andre Nollkaemper. The latter is a topic that was subject of study by the Institute of International Law (Institut de Droit International), completed in 2015, and is currently on the codification programme of the UN International Law Commission.
