Formation of the Silk Road - Formation of Euro-Asian Business Relations
Original language description
In 2013, Chinese president Xi Jinping launched the new Belt and Road initiative in order to connect worldwide markets with China and in order to promote exchange of goods on both terrestrial and maritime routes. This initiative is a follow up of ancient Silk road, established during Han dynasty in 2nd century BC. Since then, Silk road contributed not only to exchange of goods between China and Western civilizations, but as well to exchange of legal cultures.
