In diesem Artikel befassen wir uns mit dem Problem von Stereotypisierungen aus dem Sicht des europäischen Menschenrechts- und Antidiskriminierungsrechts. Es werden kurz die rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen für die Bekämpfung von Stereotypen und die einschlägige Rechtsprechung zum Diskriminierungsverbot zusammengefasst. Das Hauptziel besteht darin, konzeptionelle und praktische Schwierigkeiten im Zusammenhang mit der rechtlichen Bekämpfung von Stereotypen aufzuzeigen.
