The chapter deals with the implementation of Article 12 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Czech Republic, across the legal order. Attention is paid to the basic concepts (legal personality, capacity to perform legal acts, disabled person) and related legislation in the field of civil law, civil procedure, but also labour and criminal law. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of Article 12 during the drafting of the current Civil Code adopted in 2012.
