Original language description
This Article describes the history and reasons for an adoption of the specific Law on State aid in the Czech Republic in 2004 including a description of competences of individual Czech authorities. The second part of the article explains this year's amendment of the Czech State aid Act and describes its individual parts and reasoning for its adoption. Special attention is paid to the new obligation imposed on providers of State aid as part of the recovery procedure, in cases where unlawful State aid was granted to a beneficiary and there is no existing European Commission Decision on recovery.
