The chapter deals with a group of female Polish workers who was invited to Czechoslovakia as a labor force and later married Czech men and settled on the Czechoslovak territory. Until now these women form a specific segment of the Polish ethnic group inthe Czech Republic. The aim of the chapter is to describe their most common social networks in which these women live and the process of their creating. Particular attention is paid to factors which help them or hinder their creation.
