The issue of Roma-Gypsy ethnonym is a popular topic among so called "Gyp-siologists". In various studies, arguments are oen proposed for using the term "Gypsy" instead of "Roma" or vice versa are oen discussed. e "terminological war", i.e. the argument between the ethnonyms "Roma" and "Gypsy" has also occasionally intensified within public and political discourse as well
