The aim of this case study is to analyze current trends in media communication of Czech Catholic Church leaders concerning the Istanbul Convention (Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence). The article is using quantitative content analysis to find out the extent of media coverage containing opinions of Church leaders. The main goal is to understand the character of the argumentation in relation to text of the convention. The article is using selected Christian media to show the way Church communicated its attitude and to trace the debate which emerged during 2018.
