The article begins with a brief overview of the formative moments in Czech-China relations and the Czech Republic's China policy. It then presents the conceptual framework and research design of media analysis, undertaken with the aim of empirically and in detail, documenting the development of China's image in the Czech Republic since 2010. A reflection of the results of the analysis is then presented and final conclusions reached.
