Women's Leadership in the Public Relations Profession
Original language description
Although there's rather an extensive body of research, analysing the role of women in public relations, only limited research has been focusing on Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. In this study, we are focusing on analysing and describing the situation in the Czech Republic and in that, we provide a comprehensive account of the position of women in the Czech Republic. Firstly, we will describe the country's cultural, social and political characteristics, which predetermine strongly the role of women in society. Secondly, it's necessary to describe the state of the local public relations field and also the professionalisation of public relations. Thirdly, we will conduct a qualitative analysis with semi-structured interviews with women profession- als in the field of communication.
