This report focuses on mapping the current European and national legislation or rules connected to the topic of ReMeD project that different European countries apply to the media, including social media. It is an insight into a constantly evolving issue logically influenced by regulations and rules adopted at the European Union level. In this respect, the perspective of the United Kingdom as a former member of the European Union, is also very insightful; a similar situation applies to Norway, which is not a member state but shares many measures with the EU. The information and data are publicly available, and the expertise comes from national media experts. The report uses data from Austria, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Norway, and the United Kingdom.
