The Role of Political Leaders in the Institutionalization of Parties and the Exercise of Executive Power in Czechia in the Years 1993–2024
Original language description
This chapter provides an analysis of political leaders in the Czech Republic after the fall of communism. From the perspective of leadership, the chapter provides an analytical examination of the processes of democratization, the formation of party systems, and parliamentary elections in the country. Students and scholars will gain a much better understanding of the political developments in the region. Moreover, the work is also helpful for reflecting on leadership questions in the context of the established democracies of Central Europe and for other countries still in their institutionalization phase.
