Le but de cet article est de montrer que dans les travaux les moins connus de Merleau-Ponty, s'ouvre un chemin vers une phénoménologie du corps qui ne risque pas l"ambigu?té de la chair" que l'on reproche a Le visible et l'invisible, mais soutient bien plutôt l'ontologie de la Nature qui affleure dans les Notes de travail ajoutées au dernier écrit merleau-pontien.
