Memory is one of the key themes of arts, humanities, and sciences. Memory is reflected in the arts in a multitude of ways and has become a subject of research in the field of sciences and humanities. The collective memory of human groups is formed through communicative processes. Current studies of social memory show that in this area there are many conflicting opinions that appear as antinomies, dilemmas and paradoxes. In this paper we talk about some of them.
