Dieser Artikel fasst die Ergebnisse von neuerlichen Forschung über seligen Prämonstratenser Hroznata (+ 14. 7. 1217) zusammen. 1997 war er zum Patron der neuen Diözese Pilsen proklamiert und sieben Jahre später begann auch Hroznatas Kanonisationsprozess. Ein wichtiger Teil der heutigen Kanonisation ist eine historische Forschung des Lebens der Kandidat, was hier beschreibt ist.
