Soren Kierkegaard's Impact On Theological Heritage of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Stimulation and Challenges for Present
Original language description
The Danish philosopher Soren Aabye Kierkegaard (1813-1855) was not a contemporary of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Kierkegaard lived and acted nearly 93 years before the birth of this prominent German philosopher and theologian. His thoughts left a small but indelible trace in his works. This contribution is divided into four parts. In the first I am going to present similarities and diversities in the lives of both thinkers. Further, I will be reflecting an occurrence of the Kierkegaard's thoughts in Bonhoeffer's writings. Third part of this contribution will be applied to important impacts on the German thinker. Before a brief conclusion of this paper, I intend to brood over Bonhoeffer's relationship to Kierkegaard's legacy.
