The aim of this paper is to contribute to drawing a picture of Ludmila Muchová, a Czech religious teacher and educator, who has taught at the Faculty of Theology at the University of South Bohemia and led the Department of Education for many years. Further, it aims at offering a wide meaning of the educational process; the reason for this is the fact that as long as man becomes human through education, it is necessary to respect the diversity of ways in which people reveal the essential values that shape their humanity.
