Spirituality in education
Original language description
Considering a theme of this paper, we have chosen the "spirituality in education" for several fairly alarming reasons, e.g. in view of a society- wide crisis looming over our post-modern times or seeing scant attention given to the spiritual life of pupils and students. We owe great inspiration to the concept of spiritual maturity developed by Grof, since we believe it could be instrumental in implementing spirituality aspects into the system of education. The theoretical section of the paper thus tackles the topics of "spirituality in education" and "spirituality in children", specifically as regards their ability of understanding and developmental intervention, both supported by arguments articulated in the relevant literature.
