US-CZ workshop on Electrochemical sensors Prague 2001 was held on 19-22 June 2001 in the Heyrovsky Institute of physical chemistry of the Academy of Science CR. All 21 lectures and 10 posters are published in the proceedings. Special issue of Critical Reviews ed. by prof. C. Lochmuller is being prepared and will be published in 2002. This workshop lead to many new relationships between czech and american scientists from the field of electrochemical sensors. Also new contacts with eastern-european scientists are very useful.
