In the 20th century significance of marriage for the reproductive behaviour changed. In the CR the marriage rate at first increased significantly, and later fell; by the end of the century people marred at a later age and lower rate than a century ago.

Czech description
Ve 20. století se význam manželtví pro reprodukční chování významně změnil. V ČR úroveň sňatečnosti nejprve stoupla a následně významně klesla. Na konci století je nižší než byla před sto lety.
